Answers:

1. How do I obtain my CE Credits?

  • To obtain your CE credits, complete the CE Test Registration Form and answer the 20 CE test questions.
  • Once you have submitted your answers, your test will be marked immediately (online) and your results will be displayed promptly on your screen.
  • A passing grade is considered 70% or higher.
  • If you receive a grade of less than 70% you can take the test a second time. If, on your second attempt, you receive a grade of less than 70% you will not be permitted to retake the test. You will be advised of the correct answers.
  • If you receive a grade of 70% or greater on either your first or second attempt, you will be able to print off a certificate of completion which you may be able to forward to your provincial licensing province.


2. What is the purpose of the case studies?

  • The CE program contains four case studies that you can use to check your knowledge as you progress through the CE program.
  • The case studies can be completed as you read through the program or at the end of the program.
  • The case studies are optional and do not need to be completed prior to the CE Post Test.


3. What kind of information can I find in the Practice Pearls and Counselling Briefs?
  • The Practice Pearls contain clinical tips that can help you in your daily practice. They may also contain useful background information on a topic.
  • The Counselling Briefs are designed to assist you when counselling on COPD medication(s).


4. How can I print pages from the site?

  • Click on <file> located in the top left corner of your browser.
  • Click on <print> from the drop down menu.
